Here's an interesting video

I found this on Youtube and felt like sharing it with everyone. This is a 3d video of a GM LS6 Engine being built. Pretty cool! If your interested in an LS6 engine, you can buy one from GM for a mildly expensive; 5500$

The Legendary, Bugatti Veyron

One Fast Car
-The Bugatti Veyron-

In the world of today, If someone were to ask you "Who makes the fastest production car in the world?" What would you say? I'm assuming that 90% of you would say "Ferrari" or "Lamborghini". Well, the astonishing truth is, the world's fastest production car is actually made by VW, yes that's Volkswagen. The reason this is pretty astonishing is because when someone thinks of what cars Volkswagen produces, they don't think of fast cars, or performance cars, they think of small gas-saving cars, or even the infamous "VW Bug". This is absolutely the opposite of what the Bugatti Veyron is. The Veyron is not a fancy gas saver, or a a small inexpensive commuter. What the Veyron actually is, is a beast of a car that tops every other production car model on earth in terms of speed and possibly luxury. The Veyron can reach an unbelievable speed of 250mph in just 55 seconds from 0mph. The Veyron does 0-60Mph in 2.8 seconds.

-A Brief Bugatti History-

The car company Bugatti, was founded by Ettore Bugatti in 1909. The company created unique performance cars, which were mostly made by hand at the time. The Bugatti company lasted for about 51 years until it was bought out by Volkswagen somewhere in the 1950's or 1960's. Volkswagen bought Bugatti's automotive factory, and the Bugatti name.

-Performance Features-

What makes the Bugatti Veyron so fast, is its W16 (Thats 16 cylinders) 8.0 Liter, Quad-Turbocharged engine. This car's engine pushes 1,001HP. The car in a whole can reach a recorded maximum speed of 254mph at sea level, which is about 1/3 of the speed of sound. Your probably asking yourself how the Bugatti Veyron stays on the road when going 200mph+? Well, the Bugatti Veyron has a rear electro-hydrolic spoiler that can be raised for cruising around town, and lowered with a special key for driving at extreme speed. What the spoiler does when its lowered for extreme speeds, is create massive down-force, which practiacally glues the Veyron to the road. Another interesting thing about the Veyron is its transmission. The Veyron has what is called a Dual-Clutch 7-Speed transmission, but it does not have a clutch for shifting gears. What it does have, is levers behind the steering wheel that you pull on when you want to shift gears. I know this is something I would definantly want in a car that can hit 250mph. I would not want to take a hand off the steering wheel to shift at these speeds, or have to focus on disengaging a clutch to change gears.

Here's a short video that will show you how fast this car actually is, I mean, it's VERY FAST:

-The Luxury Features-

The Bugatti Veyron is not only a fast car, but it also boasts top luxury features compared to any other high-performance car. The Veyron features A/C, Automatic Windows, Heated Seats, A Unique Sound System, An extremely sleek exterior look which also contributes to its advance aerodynamics, and a beautiful 2-seat interior.

-Pricing-

If you want a Bugatti Veyron, and your an average person, with an average income, be prepared to sell your house, take an early advance on your grandparents will, drain your children's college fund, drain your 401k, max out all your credit cards. Even then you probably won't have enough to buy the Bugatti Veyron, at the highest price for any production car in the world, 1,600,000$ and if you do, well, I hope it was worth paying all of that money. =)

-My Rating For The Bugatti Veyron-

honestly, I am going to give this car a 9.5/10. It tops EVERY production car in the world, in both luxury, style, and speed. The only thing giving it the -0.5 is obviously, its price. 1,600,000$ is enough to live off for the rest of your life, enough for your children to live off of during their life, and maybe more than that. Overall, this car is amazing, and I would love to have one someday, as would everyone else. =)

-P.S.-

If there is anyone out there in the world with a wrecked Bugatti Veyron that still has a fully functional engine/transmission. I would really like to see it swapped into another, lighter car. I couldn't imagine how fast someone could make a Honda Civic go with that engine in the back.. I wonder if it would even stick to the ground with all that torque.. Hmm..
